“La Făget” (At the Beech Forest)
Here is our story about nature, liberty and simplicity! We invite you in a spectacular and cosy setting to discover the beauty of our village, Ponoarele. The main concept of our guest house is one of our passions and occupations, the lavender. We are small growers of lavender and manufacturers of handcrafted products with and or from lavender, made with dedication and care.
The guest house has a capacity of 8 places, distributed in 4 rooms with double beds, each room has its own bathroom and balcony, this gives you the opportunity to enjoy your morning coffee contemplating and admiring the incredible landscape.
The guest house has got a modern kitchen, fully equipped, if you prefer to organize your own daily menu. The dining area is optional, in the indoor lounge or on the outdoor terrace.
The living room offers you a small place for relaxation. It has got a TV set, board games and a library that provides you different materials from which you can get information about the area and the surroundings but not only about these. There is a shared bathroom downstairs, next to the living room.
During the cold evenings, in winter, autumn or early spring you can relax in front of the fireplace and in the same time, through the glazed space, you can admire famous tourist places like God’s Bridge (Podul lui Dumnezeu), The Cave Hill (Dealul Peșterii) or Stan’s Peak (Vârful lui Stan).
Depending on the season you may taste fresh produce from your own household, from fruit and vegetables to traditional brandy called “țuică” with plum, cherry or raspberry flavour, fruity wine and lavender syrup.
Facilities: parking place, yard, TV in each room, gas stove and electric oven, toaster, espresso machine, microwave, dishwasher, proper crockery, washing machine, dryer, barbecue.
